Lighting Toolbox is a professional calculator app for lighting designers, touring engineers, and production technicians. It is designed to work entirely offline with no backend, no user accounts, and no data collection of any kind.

The CCT Meter feature requests access to your device's camera to measure colour temperature of light sources in real time. Camera data is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. No images or video are saved.
All calculations are performed locally on your device. The app does not connect to any server, API, or external service. It works fully offline — on a plane, in a venue, or anywhere without internet access.
Lighting Toolbox does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The Fixture Finder tool contains outbound links to manufacturer websites — those sites have their own privacy policies.
We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect information from any user of any age.
If we ever update this privacy policy, changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Since the app collects no data, we do not anticipate significant changes.
